Swimming coaches Jim Saulter and Julia Ryan braved the trip to Bodmin once again with swimmers competing in the Cornwall County ASA Championships held throughout March. The competition is held over many sessions at the end of which awards are presented to the top eight age group swimmers and the top three swimmers in each stroke category.Congratulations must go to all swimmers, who had to reach the set qualifying times for each event to be able to take part. This is where the hard work shows, the rewards being many personal best times as well as a good few medals.

10yr olds: Tristan Barlow-Griffin PB in 100m IM, 50m free
George Hollis PB in 50m back * 50m free
11yr olds: Thomas Shorey PB in 100m IM, 50m free, 50m back, & a medal for being 8th overall

Karley Evans PB & SILVER in 50m fly,
12 yr olds: Luke Hollis PB in 50m free & GOLD, 50m back & GOLD, 50m breast & BRONZE
13 yr olds: Connor Outram PB in 100m IM & BRONZE
14yr olds: Sam Crowther PB in 100m free
16 yr olds: Becky Brooks PB in 100m back & 50m fly
Open: 50m free & MEDAL for 5th,
Alice Nicholas PB in 200m free & medal for 6th, 100m IM & BRONZE, 100m free GOLD & SENIOR COUNTY CHAMPION!
Team swims : BRONZE for 4 x 50m medley Thomas Gillo, Luke Hollis, Thomas Shorey & Charlie Turner
