Jul 19 2008	Jubilee Outdoor Gala Jubilee Pool, Penzance - what beautiful weather we had, the best for years. A great number of swimmers braved the cold, of all ages, and delighted the huge crowd who had come to watch. Well done to all. Lots of medals and cups awarded so congratulations to all. A massive thanks to Adrian who organised it all, also to the many people officials, esp Jim & Cyril. (see over for results)

Jul 11 2008	Meadery Social Evening - Friday This was the evening for our social meadery get together at Newlyn Meadery. There were so many of us, over 60, so an excellent choice of venue as we still didn't fill the place. We all ate too much, but didn't all need the indigestion tablets, and had a great evening. Even Jim & Barbara made it after dashing back from their traumatic week away. So many thanks to Bev & Adrian.

Jul 5 2008	Junior Novice Gala Held at Penzance. We welcomed swimmers from Wadebridge, St Ives, Carn Brea and Newquay. An excellent event, well done to all. (see over for results)

Jun 28 2008	3rd round of Cornwall & W Devon league This was held at Penzance as it was Mazey Day. So thanks to all of the team who turned up. Lots of pb's, 18 1st places and tremendous spirit which gave us first place on the day. Ben's last swim at 25.47 was quite something to watch! Excellent. May 24 2008	2nd round of Cornwall & W Devon league Was held at Carn Brea. Well done to all swimmers. 4th place against the strong opposition of Torridge, Plymouth Leander & Carn Brea, but some great swims and plenty of effort once again. Mazey Day swim next!

May 20 2008	ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 8.00pm at Penzance Leisure Centre All welcome. Please come.

May 3 2008	Zoe Baker Day An excellent time was had when top swimmer Zoe Baker came to visit us to give coaching to all club swimmers. Many people of all ages came to enjoy some coaching with her. Many thanks to Jim for organising it all.

May 2 2008	Super Schools Gala evening. Thanks to all the schools for attending. You all did really well, swimmers and supporters! See over for results.

May 1 2008	Cornwall W/Devon league 1st round We finished 4th! But are now 10th overall. See over for more.

Mar 1 2008	County swims get off to a good start! Well done to all the swimmers on the first day of the Counties... you have all done well just to qualify for this top competition. Some excellent swims already, medals and pb's. Details soon. Feb 9 2008	Penzance Novice Gala Well done to all our swimmers, especially to those of you were swimming at your first gala. (see over for results)

Feb 3 2008	County relays held at Truro Well done to all our swimmers. This is the first time we have entered this event and to improve so much on entry times is excellent. Jim Saulter - Chief coach ( see over for results)

Jan 19 2008	Bodmin Division 2 no longer! Well done to all swimmers who made up the team on Saturday. Fantastic swims and the great news that as we came 2nd we now go up to Division 1, what a result. See over for final results.

Dec 11 2007	Masters Gala Well done to all the Masters who competed at the recent Masters Gala held at Penzance. Some fine swims indeed.

Dec 3 2007	Christmas Relay Gala A great night for all. Our huge Penzance team swam well but couldn't quite beat Carn Brea or Truro. Well done to all, especially to our younger swimmers Holly, Zoe, Tegan, Neave, Shannon & Jennifer as well as Ben E, Josh, Mawgan, Luca & Keiran - for some of them it was their first ever gala! Very scary! So well done. (see over)

Nov 18 2007	Master's inter county gala This was held at Salisbury and we were excellently represented at this by Oline, Dorinda, Judy, Ben M, Ben O, Iain, James & Mark. Well done to all.

Nov 8 2007	Club Championships =RESULTS ALL NOW IN!! Great Championships. Lots of super swims. Many thanks are due to all those that helped on the night, and especially to Adrian for all his hard work in setting it all up. ALL RESULTS NOW IN ****see over

Nov 3 2007	Bodmin Open Great swims once again. I hear that tears of joy were even shed! the swimmers did so well. Well done everyone. And thanks to all the poolside help given by Jim, Alan, Eleanor & Adrian. Also to Dorinda & Steph for giving their time as officials. Oct 30 2007	Trip to Leicester Knighton What a great trip to Leicester. We all had a fantastic time and wanted to stay longer. Our host families were great, providing plenty of food and entertainment. (see over)

Aug 5 2007	Summer BBQ Well we managed to have the BBQ at last. No! no-one had their food cooked like that! though more than 20 people were fed, played games and had a great time. Special thanks to Adrian, Bev & Jim for all the great food and drinks. Can't think who was on the wine, (Mrs H & Mrs C!)
