SWIMMER’S CODE of CONDUCT


PENZANCE LEISURE CENTRE


  • Good behaviour at all times.

  • Obey all the Pool rules.

  • Never leave the Poolside without permission.

  • Obey all instructions given by Teachers and Coaches

  • No chewing gum on Poolside or in the Water

  • Be aware and respect the other Swimmers around you.

  • Take care of all equipment provided.

  • Try to be on time for all training sessions

  • Be on time for all Galas

  • Senior swimmers to encourage and support younger swimmers.



AWAY TRIPS


  • Good behaviour at all times.

  • Follow any instructions from the Team manager and other Staff.

  • During travel by Coach remain seated whilst the Coach is moving.

  • All swim and/or overnight bags to be stored in luggage hold.

  • All personal items and food and drink to be kept tidy

  • All rubbish to be placed in the bags provided.

  • No chewing gum or Alcohol to be taken on trip.

  • No footwear on seats.

  • Will not leave the Hotel alone or without permission or wander off alone at Service stations.

  • Will not leave poolside without permission

  • Will not eat on poolside

  • Senior swimmers encourage and support younger swimmers

Code of Conduct for parents/carers

PENZANCE SWIMMING ASSN & WATER POLO CLUB
  • Encourage your child to learn the rules and play within them.

  • Discourage unfair play and arguing with officials.

  • Help your child to recognise good performance, not just results.

  • Never force your child to take part in sport.

  • Set a good example by recognising fair play and applauding the good performances of all.

  • Never punish or belittle a child for losing or making mistakes.

  • Publicly accept officials’ judgements.

  • Support your child’s involvement and help them to enjoy their sport.
